The Vac-Alert Safety Vacuum Release System Model VA-2000S (Submerged) is designed for submerged lift applications wherein a submerged suction means that the circulating pump suction is below the level of the pool water surface. This Model VA-2000S has a design with a 0.375-inch diameter orifice opening installed below the surge tube section.
